LIFE SUPPORT TRAINING

Whether in hospital, in the work place, or out in public, when a medical emergency takes place, time is of the essence. Early recognition and treatment is critical to the chain of survival.

We provide a range of life support training for all audiences and all environments, and can deliver group courses in your workplace, or individual places on our courses nationwide. Our faculty of expert instructors ensure the highest possible standards of relevant, evidence based training.

Life Support Training modules include, but are not limited to:

• Basic Life Support

• Paediatric Life Support

• AED (Automated External Defibrillator)

• Management of a Deteriorating Patient

CLINICAL SKILLS

Whether you require initial training or annual updates, we are able to deliver a range of clinical skills and competency training to groups or individuals, at a time an place that suits you, We run regular courses nationwide for individuals to attend, or we can deliver to your entire team in your workplace, 7 days a week, day or night.

All of our training uses realistic simulation materials to ensure your teams develop the skills they need, and we constantly update our material to ensure it meets national guidance and best practice.

CLINIC LEADERSHIP

Developing the right skills as clinical leaders is essential to the success of your team, whether you are a small private clinic or a large hospital team. Our faculty of instructors have real world experience in developing and leading high-performance teams in the most challenging of environments.

We work with you to understand your specific needs and challenges, and develop a bespoke programme to elevate your leadership teams and provide them with the skills they need to lead effectively. No two settings are the same, so we ensure that the training you receive is tailored exactly to your needs. CLINICAL AUDIT

Clinical Audit is essential to ensuring national guidance and best practice is being met, and can provide important evidence for external inspections such as CQC or EHO inspections.

Our experienced clinicians conduct a thorough and objective audit, and provide you with a detailed report, and supportive action plan where necessary, to assure you, your patients, and inspecting bodies, of your team’s commitment to clinical excellence.

CLINICAL SUPERVISION

There is strong evidence that effective clinical supervision provides many benefits to clinical teams, and is supported by organisations such as the NMC and GMC. Clinical supervision can take the form of restorative dialogue to support teams in high stress periods, as well as bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical delivery of care.

Our qualified and experienced clinicians are able to provide a model of clinical supervision which meets the needs of your teams, and is dynamic to respond to emergent challenges. We are able to deliver supervision in person or remotely, as individuals or in groups, as a one off event or as an ongoing programme of support, and provide you with an objective and supportive framework to meet the needs of your team.

We encourage clinician led reflective dialogue, which ensures experiential development and shared learning, which can form the basis of reflective practice for revalidation purposes.

REVALIDATION AND APPRAISAL

As a nurse-led organisation, we understand the specific needs of revalidation and appraisal for registered clinicians, particularly those working in small teams, private clinics, in non-patient-facing roles, or as lone practitioners.

We can support revalidation and appraisal from delivery of CPD through to reflective discussions and portfolio confirmation, either for individual clinicians or entire teams. We are able to support periodic appraisals throughout the revalidation cycle, to ensure appropriate support and development of clinicians as an ongoing and reflective process, and maintenance of adequate portfolio evidence.
